"Stellar performer. Very sharp, and works well with in-body stabilisation, which is more noticable/effective at this focal length. Suprisingly good bokeh! This has now become my default lens bushwalking, with a shorter macro and wide prime in the bag. Very versatile thanks to close minimum focus distance. Not as big as imagined. About as heavy as expected (not light, but probably good for this class of lens). Overall GREAT and well worth the investment."

"This lens is a great fast focusing, sharp lens. I have been using this lens to take bird photos for the last few weeks and it does a marvelous job. The greatest advantage of this zoom is its size. It breaks down to being only a 1/4 inch longer than my 18-55 zoom kit lens. I also like that is allows manual focus with AF on."
