"This is a great value lens, and in my opinion can't be beat for the price. I photograph everything from wildlife to portraits to flowers and macro shots to landscapes. While this is not a do all lens, it fits right in and works for anything that fits within its 50-200mm zoom range. The build quality is also exceptional at the price, with no slop in the workings of the lens. It also comes with a lens hood that conveniently stores backwards on the lens. The focus is internal, so it good for polarized filters, tulip hoods, etc. All in all a great lens for the price."

"This is the lens I won't leave home without! It's light, sharp, fast under most lighting conditions, and never disappoints as long as my expectations don't exceed it's specifications. The color this lens produces continues the Minolta legend for being bright, with a warm touch and the bokeh is smooth, too. I consider my equipment to be tools that need to perform when called upon and they need to perform under less than ideal situations. This is one of my favorite tools."
