"The corner to corner sharpness and microcontrast is simply amazing. Construction is top notch. Manual focus is smooth and satisfying with my eg-s focus screen on 5D mk2."

"While it is a photography lens, it is an amazing film lens for the DSLR cameras, and is what I mainly use it for. The image is crisp and clear even in pretty low lighting situations."

"There are a few downsides, one being the lens vignetting that is obvious at any f-stop below 2.8 Also the lens is manual focus, I for one do not mind this since I manually focus all my lenses, but for some people this will be a hindrance."
