fantastic lens... i must say

but... initially... was left in disbelief.! the lens i bought was tested two days later... and OMG.! the zoom barrel stucked at 35mm and wouldnt move... either back or forth... but when i finally managed to loosen it... and zoom out back to 17mm... the lens was not moving at all... but still... it wont go beyond 35mm... and that was made in China.!

managed to have it exchanged for another unit the next day... and this time... it is a made in Japan unit... and like they say... the rest is history.!
