"I love the crispness and clarity in the pictures."

"This is a good lens for the price. It is light enough to carry all day, it has macro capabilities and it is relatively fast on focusing. I use this lens for sports, challenged youth. It is also perfect for wildlife and closeups of plant life. I would recommend this lens."

"I only wish it worked for the near shots as well as the distant shots."

Actually this lens is now equipped with a focus motor. i got one a few months ago. it isn't too keen in focusing, but it does the job

I was told no but it does have a motor in it to focus which makes no sense to me.....

So will this autofocus on a Nikon D7000?

I saw a post saying it worked fine on a 3100. Will the autofocus work with Nikon d3200? If so, how do you get it to work?

Just to reconfirm, this lens will auto focus with the more recent low-end Nikon bodies (it works fine on my D3100)

Actually, this lens does autofocus with Nikon's low-end DSLR. It autofocuses on my D60.

Isn't there a newer version that has a (BIM) Built in Motor for the Nikon D3000, D3100 and D5000 ?
