The info above suggests that this lens is compatable with the NEX 5n. However, having just received this lens for christmas, it is A-mount not E-mount and is not compatable with the NEX-5N.
can you suggest the correct lens please?

Nice lens. Has quite a high amount of distortion at full ends of the range but can be easily corrected in camera or better on RAW using Adobe Lightroom or similar.

Renders colours and images well.

Downsides are the max aperture of 3.5. Not so great in low light and this means either higher iso, longer shutter or both. This can make dark images very grainy.

For range of wide to zoom it is great as the main carry around lens and the size is actually quite good to hold and not too heavy.

It is very similar to Panasonic's 14-140 but a little bigger but feels lighter.

Best all round lens on Nex by Sony so far.

$900? OMG, That's more than I paid for the NEX-5, the 16mm "pancake" lens and the 18-55 tele. I thought the street price of that thing was going to be $799?

Might have to wait until Sony drops more of the e-mount lenses on the market. I might be able to sell a kidney and get the Karl Zeiss e-mount lens Sony have been promising...

the lens Sony DT 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 lens as described in the Lenshero web page has the mount as E Mount. Amazon I believe is selling these lenses on your behalf, the descrpition states that the mount is a A MOUNT.

Can you please clarify as the Sony Nex 3 and 5 have a E MOUNT AS STANDARD.
