I purchased three of these lenses, I'm SO impressed and delighted by them!
(So that makes more sense, I have two identical NEX VG30s and one NEX VG20, plus an NEX-6 and an NEX-3, in total.)

On the VG30 units, the smooth electronically-activated, electrically facilitated zoom function is invaluable - precise, rocker-switch controlled right from the camera, and the IQ is uncompromisingly brilliant, throughout the entire range.

For the VG20 and NEX handhelds, there is an electronic servo-controller switch directly on the lens body, which permits me to electrically zoom throughout the entire 11.1 range. :)

No complaints at all, except for the mass of the units, which isn't enough to dissuade me from using these for virtually everything where faster lenses aren't mandatory.
