"This lens is on my D80 most of the time. It is great for outdoor nature scenes to indoor meeting and sports. From flowers to concerts to volleyball in dim gyms, I have gotten some great photos."

"My copy is tack sharp where it should be, fast and accurate focusing. The build quality feels sturdy and reliable. I will be taking a chance on more sigma glass in the future."

"Optically the lens is good but had to do a +20 lens correction with my D300s. Without the +20 correction it would get the wrong focusing distance leaving the picture blurry at best. If the correction was +2 or 3 I may have keep it. I'm also not a big fan of the clutch for manual focus. I got the Nikon 35mm f/1.8G"
