as this lens does NOT have an Auto-focus motor, its then entirely dependant upon your camera's servo motor, which you can disable with the "AF" selector menu/knob

you only get rounded photos with DX lenses mounted on full-frame sensors. As this is an FX lens, you should end off with a square image.

...and also pertinent spec to fisheye lenses is whether the resulting photos are square or round.

One spec I'd like to see, especially on wide-angle lenses, is whether the lense can use manual and/or auto-focus. The reason why is that I wish to shoot spherical panoramas, and do not want the auto-focus to change the focus during my shots. [I want to be able to turn OFF the auto-focus feature.] Just a thought, but it's important to panorama shooters.
