"The lens is fast and sharp. A real joy to use."

"I bought this lens to fill the gap between my 14-24 and 70-200 and have not been disappointed. It is as every bit as good as the other two professional products."

"There is clearly an issue with this lens, as reports on sharpness and focus accuracy varies widely. It's probably a tolerance issue and I am sure Nikon is working to solve these problems."

I just bought this lens for my D800 as I am new to FX. It is seriously fast when focusing and bokeh at 70mm is amazing for any portraits. Highly recommended. It's my daily carry around lens. Fast, sharp but abit heavy.
