"The 28mm wide angle lens is an affordable lens that is great value for money. It is extremely sharp even on the other edges. It is quite useful for architectural shots, as it doesn't bend the lines that much. Another benefit to this lens is that it has a metal mount compared to plastic mounts on most of the other affordable canon lenses. Its small and light, and hence one that you can carry all the time. Great for landscape shots and architecture."
"For the price, this lens is fantastic. Great colours and contrast, and very sharp. I love this lens."
"This lens has quite noisy AF, but this shouldn't surprise anyone since the lens lacks USM. Also, the AF is a bit jumpy, so this lens provides a great opportunity to work on MF if you're not in a hurry. Also, some heavy-duty users (honestly, people way more experienced than me anyway) might complain that the lens isn't built with great quality. I can only say that the plastic build keeps the cost lower, which as a young amateur photographer is what I need."
