"Works brilliantly for me on FF or 1.3 crop camera in event filming and portrait still work."

This is a prime lens which means fast, I have used this lens at many sporting events and have gotten terrific shots. Just make sure you have your digital camera settings correct to take advantage of this wonderful piece. It will provide you with good results.
