"Works brilliantly for me on FF or 1.3 crop camera in event filming and portrait still work."

bhphotovideo.com

"The images it creates are very sharp, even wide open, and the colors and contrast are great. It's not a huge lens and doesn't stick out on the street like a white 70-200 or anything of that nature."

bhphotovideo.com

"This lens is great, but due to the focal length, you have to be wary on the shutter speed, i found my images to be shaky when i shoot later in the afternoon."

This is a prime lens which means fast, I have used this lens at many sporting events and have gotten terrific shots. Just make sure you have your digital camera settings correct to take advantage of this wonderful piece. It will provide you with good results.
