"If you are traveling and need one lens for everything, this is your lens."
"Remember its a tad bit heavy, so you're going to get a good arm workout carrying it around all day long, but it will make up for the fact that you only have to carry one lens all day long."

When you have time to set up shots or you know your focal legnths at different parts of the day you can choose sharper lenses, but this is essential kit for the second body that covers everything else or the suprises of the day.
It does weigh quite a bit and your wrists know about it after a long day which is why my assistants that have used the lense call it the white elephant. The only time I would'nt use this lense at a wedding is during the ceremony as it can be quite intimidating for a bride/groom to have that beast pointing at you.
