An additional note: You state that the PZ 45-175mm zoom does not have a silent focus motor, which is inaccurate; it most certainly does.

Your comparison of the Lumix 45-200 and 45-175 is inaccurate. The 45-175 not only has OIS, which you say it doesn't, but it has a newer generation, more effective OIS. It is also sharper than the 45-200. It is much smaller shorter when zoomed than the 45-200.
